BMC Skilled Nursing Unit Names Director Of Nursing
PITTSFIELD — Berkshire Medical Center has announced the appointment of Nancy Perry-Duncan, RN, MBA to the position director of Nursing for the Skilled Nursing Facility unit at the hospital.
Duncan most recently served with the Berkshire Visiting Nurse Assoc. as a staff nurse and clinical coordinator, where she provided direct care, assessment, and intervention for clients and their families. She served with the Berkshire VNA for 10 years before being named to her current position.
From 1991 to 1992, Duncan was a private-duty nurse and an on-call nurse at Berkshire Medical Center. She had previously worked as a staff nurse at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls, Wis., in the hospital’s intensive and coronary care unit, from 1989 to 1991. From 1982 to 1989, she was a staff nurse at Berkshire Medical Center in several units, including the ICU and CCU, the telemetry unit, and the respiratory care unit.
