Public Health Institute Welcomes Four New Members to Board of Directors
SPRINGFIELD — The Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts (PHIWM) announced the appointment of four new members to its board of directors: Lisa Allen, Melvin Coleman, Aimee Kroll-Desrosiers, and Dr. Abraham Thomas.
Allen is Co-owner and lead consultant of L&E Innovative Business Solutions LLP and brings more than two decades of experience in human services, including organizational development and strategic planning.
Coleman is assistant vice president and branch manager at Greenfield Savings Bank, with more than 15 years of leadership experience across banking, lending, and community development, with a focus on empowering communities through financial education and resources.
Kroll-Desrosiers is a staff scientist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and adjunct associate professor in the School of Public Health and Health Sciences at UMass Amherst, whose research focuses on improving mental healthcare access and quality during pregnancy and postpartum.
Thomas is chief medical officer at Caring Health Center and brings more than two decades of clinical and executive leadership experience, including advancing quality and performance across major health systems and community health settings.
