Riley Home Realty Raises $15,000 for Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen & Pantry
CHICOPEE — A recent community fundraiser hosted by Kate and Nick Riley of Riley Home Realty raised more than $15,000 for Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen & Pantry, bringing together local supporters around a shared commitment to helping neighbors facing food insecurity.
The gathering was an opportunity for community members to connect, give back, and support the important work Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen & Pantry does throughout Chicopee and the surrounding area.
For more than 40 years, Lorraine’s has worked to provide access to food with respect and dignity. Through its hot meal service, food pantry, fresh produce distribution, and mobile pantry, the organization provides critical assistance to individuals and families throughout the community.
“Lorraine’s is an incredible organization that makes a real difference for people right here in our community,” Kate Riley said. “Seeing so many people come together to support their mission was incredibly meaningful. Raising more than $15,000 is something we can all be proud of, and I’m grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.”
The fundraiser reflects Riley’s continued commitment to the community she serves. As a local real estate professional, she believes that being part of a community extends beyond helping people buy and sell homes — it also means supporting the organizations working every day to make that community stronger.
The more than $15,000 raised will support Lorraine’s ongoing efforts to provide food and assistance to those who need it. The success of the event was made possible by the generosity of everyone who attended, donated, and contributed to the fundraiser.
“This was truly a community effort,” Riley added. “Every donation mattered, and every person who participated helped us do something meaningful for Lorraine’s and the people they serve.”
