CMIC Declares 12.5{06cf2b9696b159f874511d23dbc893eb1ac83014175ed30550cfff22781411e5} Dividend for Policyholders in 2016
GLASTONBURY, Conn. — CMIC, a leading member-owned medical professional liability-insurance company, announced that its board of directors declared a policyholders’ dividend to be distributed to all CMIC policyholders renewing their policies in 2016.
The 2016 dividend credit will approximate 12.5{06cf2b9696b159f874511d23dbc893eb1ac83014175ed30550cfff22781411e5} and will be applied to renewal premiums after all other credits are taken into consideration, including current loss-experience credits, which range from 7.5{06cf2b9696b159f874511d23dbc893eb1ac83014175ed30550cfff22781411e5} to 35{06cf2b9696b159f874511d23dbc893eb1ac83014175ed30550cfff22781411e5}, and loss-prevention-education credits.
The 2016 dividend was approved during the company’s recent board meeting. Future dividend declarations will be made at the discretion of the CMIC board of directors.
