Community Enterprises Receives Three-year CARF Accreditation
NORTHAMPTON — Richard Venne, president and CEO, announced that Community Enterprises received the maximum three-year CARF accreditation, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to quality services for its clients.
CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human-service programs. CARF accreditation signals a service provider’s commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community.
In November, Community Enterprises (CE) hosted CARF as it surveyed community-employment and community-living programs in employment supports, job development, employment-skills training services, host-family/shared-living services, and supported living.
A lunch meeting was held at the Delaney House in Holyoke, where CE staff were invited to hear the results of the survey. The surveyors had only two recommendations, with none in the program area. The surveyors commended CE on its strengths as an organization, the dedication of the staff, and the numerous community partnerships it has developed.
