‘Elders and People with Disabilities Safe and Thriving at Home: a Virtual Forum’ Slated for June 9

GREENFIELD — LifePath will present a community forum on Tuesday, June 9 from 2 to 3 p.m. “Elders and People with Disabilities Safe and Thriving at Home: A Virtual Forum” will be hosted by AOTV via Zoom video or phone conference.

COVID-19 poses a higher health risk and has a greater impact on quality of life for elders and people with disabilities. The goal of this forum is to highlight the needs of this group and to increase awareness of the current services available, including new supports specifically created for the effects of the COVID-19 crisis.

Panelists will include Barbara Bodzin, executive director of LifePath; Heather Bialecki-Canning, executive director of the North Quabbin Community Coalition; state Sen. Jo Comerford; Clare Higgins, executive director of Community Action; and Christina Johnson, director of South County Senior Center. The moderator is Lynne Feldman, director of Community Services at LifePath.
