Eversource Powers Trunks and Treats Event for MHA Staff and Families

SPRINGFIELD — Friends and family of MHA staff will celebrate Halloween in spooktacular style on Thursday, Oct. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the parking lot of the nonprofit’s Springfield headquarters located at 995 Worthington St. The event will offer dozens of trunkloads of treats and spirited fun, music, and costumes.

“We are thrilled, pun intended, for the support from Eversource, which is making this first-ever event for our hardworking MHA staff, their friends, and family members possible,” said Kimberley Lee, MHA’s vice president of Resource Development and Branding. “It’s a safe and healthy opportunity for children to put on their costumes and trick or treat in a well-lit environment that is comfortable and familiar. We are hoping to make this an annual event for all of MHA’s boys and ghouls.”

Themed trunks will include zombies, cowboys, pumpkins, and A Nightmare on Elm Street.
