Forum Tackles Workforce Issues

BOSTON — The Health Care Leadership Forum (HCLF), consisting of business, biotechnology, and health care organizations, recently released A Six-point Plan to Help Our Health Care Workforce Keep Pace with Patient Needs and Economic Imperatives.

HCLF recommends, among other things, supporting state Sen. Richard Moore’s “An Act to Support the Nursing Profession and Promote Safe Patient Care,” the use of recruitment tools and advertising campaigns to recruit health care workers, and the adoption of comprehensive tort reform.
