Golden Years to Announce Community-support Initiative at Sycamore House
HOLYOKE — Golden Years, an elder-care agency based in East Longmeadow that provides comprehensive senior home-care services, is joining with Commonwealth Care Alliance, Caregiver Homes, and Springfield Pharmacy for an announcement about a joint community support initiative today, July 2 at 9:30 a.m. at Sycamore House, 287 Essex St., Holyoke.
Representatives from each organization will be in attendance, and will be joined by state Sen. John Velis and state Rep. Aaron Vega.
The four organizations have partnered with Appleton Corp. to begin the community-support initiative at one of its properties, which will involve providing care packages to each apartment at Sycamore House. The care packages will include a mask, hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial wipes, anti-bacterial dish soap, and toilet tissue.
Based in East Longmeadow, Golden Years Home Care Services of Massachusetts is an elder-care agency providing home-care services to those who need assistance performing their day-to-day tasks due to a disability, injury, or aging. Golden Years also has satellite offices in Boston.
