HMC Names Legal Counsel

HOLYOKE — Atty. Richard T. O´Connor of Longmeadow has been named legal counsel at Holyoke Medical Center.

O´Connor is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, and Boston University´s Health Care Management Development Program.

He obtained his master´s degree in Business Administration from Western New England College and his juris doctor degree from Western New England College School of Law.

In addition to his new position, he also currently works as administrator at Valley Neurological Surgery. Prior to that, he had most recently worked as administrator at New England Neurosurgical Associates.

O´Connor is a certified medical practice executive through the Medical Group Management Association and a member of the American Health/ Lawyers Association.

He is also a member of the American Bar Assoc., the Mass. Bar Assoc. and the Hampden Bar Advocate Program. He maintains a private practice in Springfield.
