HOLYOKE — Holyoke Hosopital has announced the appointment of Elaine Alonzo Cote and Deborah Buckley to its Board of Directors.
Alonzo Cote is vice president for External Affairs for Partners for Community, a Springfield-based, multi-agency, non-profit organization. She has served on numerous public interest boards, including the Springfield Public Forum, Stage West, and the Springfield Department of Social Services. She is a current member of the Educational Advisory Committee to the Western Mass. Community Foundation.
In addition, she is a former member of the Springfield Traffic Commission and is a justice of the peace and Notary Public.
Buckley is president of Goss & McLain Insurance Company, where she has worked since 1976. A graduate of Mount Holyoke College, she is involved in several community organizations, including the American Red Cross Pioneer Valley Chapter, the Granby Athletic Assoc., the Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce, the Holyoke Taxpayers Assoc., the Holyoke Rotary Club (past president), Loomis Communities, Community United Way of Pioneer Valley, and the Holyoke Visiting Nurses Assoc., where she is immediate past chair of the Board of Directors. |
