Holyoke Hospital Opens Satellite Blood-drawing Station In Chicopee
CHICOPEE — Holyoke Hospital’s Laboratory recently opened a blood-drawing station at 260 New Ludlow Road for the convenience of its patients. The station, staffed by hospital phlebotomists, is open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“We’re doing this because our customers have asked for it,” said Michael A. Zwirko, the hospital’s vice president of operations. “We have a large number of people from Chicopee, South Hadley, Granby, and Belchertown for whom this should be especially convenient.”
Appointments are not necessary.
All patients are required to do is bring requisitions for blood work from their health care provider to the drawing station, along with a form of identification. For more information, call (413) 536-6766.
