Holyoke Mall to Host Pop-up Vaccination Clinic on Dec. 4

HOLYOKE — In an effort to make vaccines more accessible to the community, Holyoke Mall is partnering with the Holyoke Board of Health and Behavioral Health Network (BHN) to host a free pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Saturday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“The Holyoke Board of Health encourages residents of Holyoke and visitors to the Holyoke Mall to take advantage of the free COVID-19 vaccine and booster clinic,” said Sean Gonsalves, director of Health for the city of Holyoke. “The COVID-19 vaccine and a booster are a great way to keep yourself and your family healthy this holiday season. The vaccine has been approved for individuals age 5 and up, and is free of charge.”

The clinic will offer Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines and boosters and Pfizer pediatric doses, as well as flu shots. The clinic will be located on the lower Level of Holyoke Mall, between Planet Fitness and Macy’s.

Appointments are preferred and can be made by clicking here, but are not required.

“We are proud to partner with the Holyoke Department of Health and BHN to provide more opportunities for vaccination to mall employees and to the community as a whole,” said Lynn Gray, Holyoke Mall’s general manager. “We are grateful that Holyoke Mall can play a role in helping to keep our community safe by being a destination to offer a free COVID-19 vaccine or booster dose just in time to spend the holidays with loved ones.”

Masks will be required when receiving the vaccine. The vaccine is free for everyone and does not require identification or health insurance.
