Holyoke Medical Center Offering Free Diabetes Wellness Fair Today at Holyoke Mall

HOLYOKE — Holyoke Medical Center host a free Diabetes Wellness Fair today, Nov. 13, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Holyoke Mall on the upper level near Target. This event is free and open to the public.

The fair will offer free blood-pressure checks, a type 2 diabetes risk test questionnaire, raffles, and more. Medical experts will be on hand to offer information on preventing diabetes-related complications, including skin, foot, dental, eye, and ear health. Exercise and food-portion-control demonstrations will be presented and allow for hands-on participation.

Pharmacists will be on hand to discuss medications available to treat diabetes. Private consultations with the pharmacists will be available for those with more in-depth questions about medications and how to manage their diabetes.
