Holyoke Medical Center Updates COVID-19 Testing Hours for Holiday Weekend

HOLYOKE — Holyoke Medical Center (HMC) has added additional hours to its designated COVID-19 testing site on the main campus of the hospital to cover the holiday weekend. The testing site is now located in the Auxiliary Conference Center. The new hours are Friday, Dec. 31 and Saturday, Jan. 1 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 2 from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.

People looking to be tested should follow the posted signage for directions, call the number listed on the parking signs from their car when they arrive at the hospital, and remain in their car until asked to enter the facility to be tested.

PCR testing is currently unavailable at this location. Other molecular test results, which are approved by the state of Massachusetts, will be performed. Test results currently take up to two to three days to be provided. Results can be accessed through the hospital’s online patient portal as soon as the results are available.

Routine outpatient COVID testing will not be provided in the HMC Emergency Department. People looking to be tested for COVID at Holyoke Medical Center should go to the HMC Auxiliary Conference Center during the above listed operating hours.
