Hospice of the Fisher Home Receives Anonymous $100,000 Donation
AMHERST — An anonymous donor has given a $100,000 boost to Hospice of the Fisher Home’s “Keep Us Rooted” capital campaign goal of raising $500,000 over the next year, Executive Director Maria Rivera announced.
The capital campaign focuses on raising money for critical infrastructure renovations to the Fisher Home’s nine-bed hospice residence and headquarters in Amherst. The funds raised will pay for a new HVAC system, plumbing work, and a new generator.
“We are so grateful for this very significant gift of $100,000,” Rivera said. “The spirit of generosity shown by so many people since we launched the campaign has been wonderful. Every donation, large or small, helps us reach our goal so we can continue to offer expert end-of-life care throughout the tri-county area and at our residence.”
