Hospice of the Fisher Home’s Golf Tournament Raises $27,000
The Hospice of the Fisher Home raised more than $27,000 at the recent par 3 fundraiser at Amherst Golf Club’s nine-hole course to support patient care in the local community.
The event featured beer tastings by Fetch Brew Co. of Belchertown and Hangar Pub and Grill’s Amherst Brewery. Seafood slider samples on the course were provided by the Smithsonian Café and Chowder House. Amherst Golf Club’s Greens Superintendent, Carl Teschke won the popular raffle item of club seats on the 45-yard line to a New England Patriots game donated by Manny’s Appliance of Hadley.
Other supporters of the event were: Greenfield Savings Bank, Tommy Car Auto Group, Flynt Lincoln Golf, Sarat Ford of Northampton, and luncheon sponsors: People’s Bank, Czelusniak Funeral Home, MJ Moran Inc., and Pella Windows & Doors.
