HospiceCare in the Berkshires Offers Monthly Grief-support Group

PITTSFIELD — HospiceCare in the Berkshires (HCIB) will offer a monthly grief-support group in Great Barrington. The drop-in group will meet the fourth Thursday of each month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Fairview Hospital, 29 Lewis Ave., Great Barrington. The next meeting will be held Oct. 26.

The support group “Living with Loss” is offered for anyone who has experienced a loss of a family member or friend. For more information, call the HCIB bereavement coordinator at (413) 443-2994. The support group is free and open to the public.

HospiceCare in the Berkshires Inc. is a nonprofit organization with 35 years of experience providing compassionate end-of-life care. Services include ensuring patient comfort, managing symptoms, providing personal care and companionship, respite care, and end-of-life planning. It also offers counseling services to help anyone in the community through the grieving process.
