Six Flags New England to Host Vaccine Clinic on June 19

AGAWAM — Six Flags New England, in partnership with Baystate Health, is offering a Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccination clinic open to the general public on Saturday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The vaccination site will be located in the general parking lot across the street from the theme park.

“More and more people are recognizing that the vaccine is very safe and effective. As we enter the summer months and as families resume their summer activities, such as going to the beach or to Six Flags New England, I can’t stress enough the importance of getting vaccinated,” said Dr. Armando Paez, chief of Infectious Diseases at Baystate Medical Center.

People must pre-register by clicking here and should come dressed in comfortable clothing that allows for access to the upper arm. Patients should expect to wait for 15 minutes during a post-vaccine observation time. There is a two-week period following the vaccine in which patients are encouraged to continue mask wearing, as it takes time for the body to build up response.

All patients will receive a vaccination card and two free tickets to Six Flags New England, valid for any day during the 2021 operating season.
