INHALE Breathwork Workshop Coming to Great Barrington
GREAT BARRINGTON — Breathwork doesn’t require experience, special equipment, or a particular kind of person. It begins with something everyone already has: the breath, or the ability to inhale.
This summer and fall, Feel Good Haus – Modern Apothecary will host INHALE, a 60-minute guided breathwork workshop designed to offer an accessible introduction to breathwork, mindfulness, and sensory awareness. The workshop invites participants to slow down, turn inward, and explore the simple but powerful practice of intentional breathing.
INHALE will be led by Chip Killingsworth of Thriving Unicorn, a Berkshire-based breathwork facilitator and mindfulness meditation teacher. Through Thriving Unicorn, Killingsworth guides individuals and groups through breathwork, meditation, mindfulness, and contemplative practices, creating approachable experiences that encourage greater presence, awareness, and connection.
“Breathwork is something everyone can access,” Killingsworth said. “You don’t need to have a meditation practice or any previous experience. You just need to come with an open mind and a willingness to explore what happens when you bring breath, scent, sound, and stillness together.”
Each INHALE workshop guides participants through intentional breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, and periods of stillness, with sensory oils thoughtfully woven throughout the experience. Scent becomes another pathway into the practice, helping participants engage their sense of smell, deepen awareness, and create a more immersive sensory experience.
Designed for everyone — from those completely new to breathwork to those with an established mindfulness or meditation practice — INHALE requires no previous experience and no expectation to ‘do it right.’ Participants are invited to arrive as they are, breathe, explore the sensory experience, and move through the practice at their own pace.
“INHALE is a natural extension of what we’re building at Feel Good Haus,” said Tricia MacKenzie founder of Feel Good Haus – Modern Apothecary. “Feeling good isn’t just about the things we buy. It’s also about creating space to pause, reconnect, and take care of ourselves; this is the essence of self-care. Breathwork is such an accessible practice because the breath is always with us.”
INHALE will take place on Sundays, Aug. 30, Sept. 13, and Sept. 27 from 5 to 6 p.m. The cost is $25 for a first-time session, $30 for a drop in-session, and $75 for a three-class pack. Space is intentionally limited to create a more intimate experience, and advance registration is recommended at www.feelgoodhaus.com.
