JGS Lifecare Announces 2024 Annual Meeting
LONGMEADOW — JGS Lifecare will hold its 2024 annual meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at Leavitt Family Jewish Home, 770 Converse St., Longmeadow. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served at 5:30 p.m. in Michael’s Café, and the annual meeting will commence at 6:30 p.m. in the Hy and Roz Gloth Auditorium. The community is encouraged to participate.
This year, the Chair’s Service Award will be presented to Richard Halpern, a member of the JGS Lifecare board of directors.
“It is a great pleasure to pay tribute to Richard for his long-time commitment to JGS Lifecare, which has spanned decades,” said Dr. Stuart Anfang, JGS board chair. “Richard has provided a consistent and thoughtful voice of reason in our board deliberations. He has had a significant impact on our success in raising community philanthropic support to make possible ongoing campus renovations and expansions, and to enhance our programs and services. I am delighted to recognize Richard for his commitment to JGS Lifecare and the people we serve by presenting him with the 2024 Chair’s Service Award.”
Featured speakers include Barry Berman, CEO of Chelsea Jewish Lifecare and nationally recognized innovator in the green house model of care; Adam Berman, CEO of JGS Lifecare, who will offer a community update and preview of upcoming plans; and Robert Whitten, president of JGS Lifecare.
