Kimball Farms Life Care to Host Music in Common Film Presentation

LENOX — Kimball Farms Life Care will host a showing of two short films and a discussion by the founder of Music in Common on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. at Kimball Farms, 235 Walker St., Lenox.

Music in Common, a locally based organization, works with young people to overcome hatred and prejudice through collaborative music making. The presentation is free; donations are welcome to offset a federal grant of $159,000 rescinded recently.

The films are “From Madness to Music” and “Amplified: Young Voices Rising.” The showings will be followed by a discussion with Music in Common founder and director Todd Mack. Refreshments will be served. RSVP to (413) 637-7043.
