Lee Premium Outlets Participates in Breast-cancer-awareness Effort
LEE — Lee Premium Outlets is participating in a national engagement with Susan G. Komen to support the fight against breast cancer, by engaging employees, retailers, and shoppers in ‘Mission Pink’ events throughout October.
“As an active member in this community, Lee Premium Outlets provides an ideal backdrop for raising awareness and encouraging support in finding a cure for breast cancer, a disease we know affects many of our employees, retailers, and shoppers every year,” said Heidi Cornwell, director of Marketing and Business Development.
Visitors to Lee Premium Outlets will notice that the Guest Services booth is outfitted in pink, and staff are honoring National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donning pink accessories. Other planned activities include:
• Photo Saturdays: For a $1 donation, survivors, families, and friends can have their photo taken while holding their message of strength written on a foam board; this will be e-mailed to the participant for sharing via social media. This provides an opportunity for survivors, supporters, and their families to visually articulate what gives them strength during their fight with breast cancer.
• Voucher program: $10 voucher cards, available at Guest Services, offer 25{06cf2b9696b159f874511d23dbc893eb1ac83014175ed30550cfff22781411e5} off one item at all participating retailers. All proceeds will benefit Komen.
• Local programming: Berkshire Health Systems will be on site Saturday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. providing breast-health-awareness materials and information.
