Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing to Host Egg Hunt for Children on March 30
SPRINGFIELD — Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing, a member of the Loomis Communities, will host a free Easter egg hunt for up to 250 children on Saturday, March 30 at 10:30 a.m. The event is hosted in collaboration with Mount Zion Baptist Church in Springfield, Suez Temple #114, and Suez Court No. 149.
The second annual egg hunt will feature more than 1,200 Easter eggs, prizes, and a photo with the Easter Bunny for children ages 3-12 from Mount Zion Baptist Church and the local Springfield community.
Sign-in begins at 10:30 a.m., with the egg hunt commencing at 11 a.m. on the grounds of Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing, 807 Wilbraham Road, Springfield. Officials from the Loomis Communities, Mount Zion Baptist Church, Suez Temple, and Suez Court will also be present at the event and available for interview.
Those who would like to volunteer for this event should contact Devin Cameron at (413) 532-5325 or dcameron@loomiscommunities.org. Volunteers will help with parking, distributing the eggs for the hunt, passing out bags of candy and popcorn, registration, and generally assisting anyone who may need help.
Candy donations are also being accepted. The retirement community is accepting unopened, individually wrapped candy, which can be dropped off to the concierge at Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing, 807 Wilbraham Road, Springfield.
