Loomis Village to Open Photo Exhibit on Sept. 25

SOUTH HADLEY — The public is invited to the opening of a photography exhibit, “By The Water’s Edge,” featuring the work of Dr. Ray Hubbe, on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 4:30 p.m. in the Loomis Village gallery, 20 Bayon Dr., South Hadley. The exhibit will be on display through Nov. 5, and is free and open to the public.

Hubbe is a practicing ophthalmologist in Northampton with a longstanding interest in the outdoors, wildlife, and travel. He has become increasingly engaged in capturing images of the natural world and our intersections with it. For the photography on display at Loomis Village, Hubbe has chosen scenes of life near the water from locales as close as Pelham, where he lives, and Cape Cod to as far away as the Greek island of Santorini and the West Indies.
