Malachowsky Joins Emergency Department At BMC
PITTSFIELD — Berkshire Medical Center (BMC) announced the appointment of Robert N. Malachowsky, M.D. to the physician staff in the Emergency Department.
Malachowsky has extensive experience in emergency medicine, with a medical career dating back to the early 1980s. He joined the BMC Emergency Department staff in May.
He previously served as a staff physician in emergency departments at several hospitals throughout the Northeast, including Staten Island University Hospital, Olean General Hospital, Community General Hospital of Sullivan County, Schuyler Hospital, New York Downtown Hospital, and Beth Israel Hospital, North Division.
Additionally, he has served as deputy medical director for the New York City Transit Authority and as an emergency medicine physician at Richmond Memorial Hospital, Binghampton General, Cortland Memorial, Glens Falls Hospital, and others.
