Massage Envy to Host Healing Hands for Arthritis Event

WEST SPRINGFIELD — Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in America, affecting one in five adults and more than 300,000 children. Arthritis can have devastating effects on the body, and Massage Envy and the Arthritis Foundation have united in a common purpose to relieve these symptoms through massage.

On Wednesday, Sept. 16, local Massage Envy locations will host the fifth annual Healing Hands for Arthritis event, raising money to champion the foundation’s efforts to conquer arthritis through life-changing information, advocacy, science, and community.

It’s easy for anyone to take part, by treating themselves or a loved one to a massage or facial at their local Massage Envy location, where $10 of every one-hour service on Sept. 16 will be donated to the Arthritis Foundation. In addition, 10{06cf2b9696b159f874511d23dbc893eb1ac83014175ed30550cfff22781411e5} of in-store purchases on that day are donated. The company aims to raise more than $1 million through the event.
