McCay Joins Staff at Mercy Medical

SPRINGFIELD — Mercy Medical Center recently announced that Natasha McKay, M.D., has joined its staff of neurosurgeons and is affiliated with the practice of New England Neurosurgical Associates. The group, which includes Kamal K. Kalia, M.D. and Christopher Comey, M.D., is located at 300 Carew Street, Springfield.

A graduate of Brown University in Providence, R.I. (1991) and the School of Medicine at New York University in New York, N.Y. (1998), McKay was a resident in neurosurgery at Case Western Reserve University at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio (1998-2005). She is licensed in Massachusetts and is board eligible in neurological surgery.

She specializes in image-guided brain surgery for the removal of brain tumors, and in spinal decompressions and fusions.
