Mercy LIFE to Present Talk on ‘Mental Health and the Elderly’

WEST SPRINGFIELD — Mercy LIFE will present a discussion on “Mental Health and the Elderly” on Tuesday, Oct. 17 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 200 Hillside Circle, West Springfield (formerly 2112 Riverdale St.).

Dr. Mary Tarail will speak on psychiatric problems that affect older adults, such as mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and neurocognitive disorders. She will discuss how these issues impact the lives of older adults and their families and will also speak about the importance of advance directives (healthcare proxy, MOLST, and power of attorney).
