MiraVista Behavioral Health Center Launches Walk-In-Wednesday Hiring Events

HOLYOKE — In response to increasing demand for mental-health services, MiraVista Behavioral Health Center announced Walk-In-Wednesdays, an innovative series of hiring events aimed at empowering nursing professionals interested in pursuing a new career or pivoting their current career to psychiatric mental healthcare. These events are set to begin today, Sept. 11, taking place every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the MiraVista campus located at 1233 Main St., Holyoke.

Simultaneously, MiraVista is launching a new campaign, “Embrace the Challenge. Be the Change.” This initiative features many of its own nurses and mental-health counselors who share personal stories about the impact they have on the lives of patients seeking support at MiraVista. Through their own words, they offer personal insight into how they contribute to transforming mental healthcare and the effect it has on their ability to provide quality, compassionate care.

“The role of a psychiatric nurse at MiraVista is both challenging and immensely rewarding, said Coreen Lord, director of Talent Recruitment at MiraVista. “Our nurses are central to our operations, ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care during their most vulnerable times. We are excited to offer a walk-in opportunity for nurses to learn about us and for us to learn more about them in an environment that’s personal and very low-key.”

This campaign and hiring event underscore MiraVista’s commitment to enhancing the quality of mental healthcare in the community. MiraVista is offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus to qualified candidates, reflecting the value and importance the organization places on this crucial profession.
