NAMI Western Massachusetts to Present Virtual Art and Poetry Show
AGAWAM — The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Western Massachusetts will hold a virtual art and poetry show for its 10th annual art show featuring the work of artists living with mental-health conditions.
This year, NAMI Western Massachusetts will incorporate poetry into the “Art for Hearts & Minds” art show. This is an opportunity for artists with lived experience of mental illness to have a showcase for their work. It is an important opportunity to educate the public about the lives, creativity, and abilities of individuals in the Western Mass. community who are affected by this often-stigmatized illness.
