Hartford-based National Physician Services (NPS), a physician-driven healthcare information technology company providing state-of-the-art enterprise solutions for physician practices to optimize their workflows, has entered into a partnership with Wilbraham-based Convergent Solutions Inc. (CSI), an organization offering medical practices the resources and technology needed to attain complete automation with streamlined clinical and financial processes.
Through the partnership, CSI will bundle its services with those of NPS to offer a complete technical and operational solution to the ever-changing and complex environment of healthcare data management, said Arlene Kelly, CEO of CSI. These combined solutions will include practice and revenue management as well as business intelligence tools and services that utilize top-tier technology. “By combining our portfolio of technology and integration solutions, we will be able to enhance our offerings to allow physician practices to focus on healthcare strategy, business continuity and patient care,” said Bryan Graven, CEO of National Physician Services. “In addition, this new partnership fits our business strategy of delivering proven enterprise technology solutions at or below market cost through scale, alliances and strategic partnerships.” As a charter member of the Perfect Practice Alliance (PPA) network, NPS will add the CSI expertise with an emphasis on workflow improvements and bottom-line results to the extended ensemble of services provided by charter partners EHR Integration Services and Byte Sized Solutions. The PPA offers a wide range of healthcare information solutions to enable physician groups to become the Perfect Practice. “Our partnership with NPS gives customers the opportunity to access a premier revenue cycle management service which has a proven track record with results unsurpassed by other companies,” said Kelly. “NPS’ expertise in clinical and business systems along with their state-of-the-art technology services are a perfect fit for CSI.”
