North Adams Commons to Host SHINE Lunch on March 16

NORTH ADAMS — North Adams Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will host Berkshire County Elder Services and the SHINE program on Thursday, March 16 at 11:45 a.m. The event will include a complimentary lunch of roast chicken, mashed potatoes, honey-glazed carrots, and raisin pie.

Shauna Post, regional SHINE and Money Management Program coordinator, will be the featured speaker and will discuss the SHINE program and other programs offered by Elder Services. The event will include a raffle drawing and tours of North Adams Commons for those interested. Anyone wishing to attend is asked to reserve a seat by calling Kira Breard at (413) 662-4403 by Tuesday, March 7.

North Adams Commons, located at 175 Franklin St. in North Adams, is a non-profit organization that provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing care, restorative care, and respite care, all in a homelike setting. Hospice services are available for compassionate end-of-life care.
