Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Daryle Ruark Joins Holyoke Medical Center

HOLYOKE — Dr. Daryle Ruark, a board-certified surgeon, has joined Holyoke Medical Center. Specializing in orthopedic surgery, he is the newest physician at the HMC Orthopedic Center.

“I am excited to join the team at Holyoke Medical Center,” Ruark said. “The mission and culture of the organization to improve the health of all people in our community with honesty, respect, dignity, and compassion aligns with my own philosophy of care in treating all patients the way I would want my own family to be treated.”

Ruark earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed a general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He then completed a fellowship in shoulder surgery at Baylor Medical College in Dallas. He has been practicing since 2003 in Massachusetts and Connecticut and is a member of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
