Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Robert Campbell to Discuss Bone and Joint Health on Oct. 29
PALMER — Baystate Health’s Senior Class will hold a free seminar on Wednesday, Oct. 29 titled “Bones, Muscles, and Joints, Oh My.” The event, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., will be held in the Snow Conference Room at Baystate Wing Hospital, 40 Wright St., Palmer.
“There are 206 bones, 650 muscles, and 360 joints in the adult human body,” said Susan Fontaine, senior coordinator of Loyalty Programs at Baystate Health. “Most people will see an orthopedic specialist at some point in their life for issues with either a bone, a muscle, or a joint.”
Dr. Robert Campbell, orthopedic surgeon at Baystate Wing Hospital, will lead the discussion that will focus on the musculoskeletal system, the causes of pain and other symptoms, tests used for diagnosis, as well as the many treatments available.
Baystate Health Senior Class is a free loyalty program dedicated to health and wellness, offered exclusively for men and women ages 55 and over.
