Outpatient Infusion Center Opens at Baystate Noble Hospital

WESTFIELD — Baystate Health has expanded outpatient infusion services to Baystate Noble Hospital. Now open, this infusion center will aid patients needing medication infusions and injections, hydrations, IV antibiotics, and more.

Located on the third floor of the hospital at 115 West Silver St., Westfield, the hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The four-chair center provides a variety of infusible and injectable therapies to treat multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and asthma, and will also be able to treat Alzheimer’s patients with the newly approved drug lecanemab (Leqembi).

“It’s exciting to open the outpatient infusion center as we recognize the meaningful impact infusion therapies have on the lives of patients receiving regular treatment,” said Nadia Tafreshi, Baystate Health’s Pharmacy business manager. “It’s important to be able to provide a safe, comfortable, and high-quality care experience here locally for those in our community.”
