Rays of Hope Raises $675,000 for Cancer Research, Services
SPRINGFIELD — The annual Rays of Hope breast cancer work on Oct. 25 drew more than 18,000 participants and raised $675,000 for cancer research and services, according to organizers.
That represents a small increase from last year, when the event, staged in Springfield and Greenfield, raised $650,000.
The walk, which has grown to include a timed run, has now raised more than $12.5 million for cancer research and services.
