River Valley Counseling Center to Celebrate Opening of New Location

EASTHAMPTON — River Valley Counseling Center will celebrate the opening of its newest office location in Easthampton with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, May 29 at 1 p.m. at Liberty Commons, 2 Mechanic St., Suite 1-6.

Services available at the Easthampton location include individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and children. Clinicians help the client, couple, or family identify the concerns or issues that will become the focus of treatment. Both the client and clinician work together to determine the most effective treatment needed. The frequency and duration of counseling sessions is determined based on individualized treatment plans.

“We are excited to mark the end of Mental Health Awareness Month with the grand opening of our Easthampton location, extending behavioral health services further into the Pioneer Valley,” said Rosemarie Ansel, executive director of River Valley Counseling Center.

River Valley also offers school-based therapy throughout all Easthampton Schools, a partnership formed in the fall of 2017.
