Ruth’s House to Host Art Exhibit Presented by Wilbraham Art League
LONGMEADOW — Ruth’s House, the assisted-living residence at JGS Lifecare in Longmeadow, will present a one-day exhibition of the works of more than 25 artist members of the Wilbraham Art League on Sunday, Jan. 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a snow date of Jan. 17.
Arts on display and available for purchase are expected to include 3-D art, photography, jewelry, weaving, watercolors, and more. Installations will be on exhibit in the atrium, movie room, and outside the movie room, with refreshments available through the day in the Country Café.
The Wilbraham Art League was founded in April 2007 by a group of artists for the purpose of developing active community interest and providing education in the field of fine arts. Membership is open to artists, patrons, businesses, and anyone else interested in and supportive of the arts in Hampden County. League goals are to participate in community affairs, educate members and the community, and provide venues to showcase their artwork.
