State Rep. Aaron Vega Recognizes CHD for Mental-health Work

SPRINGFIELD — The Center for Human Development recently hosted state Rep. Aaron Vega, who presented CHD with a citation in recognition of the organization’s efforts to reduce stigma around mental health, open up a dialogue about mental health, and make sure people in the community have access to mental-health services.

During his visit, Vega, a certified yoga instructor, also led a chair-yoga class to promote healthy body and mind.
