Stavros Center for Independent Living Named to Top 100 Women-led Businesses in Massachusetts
AMHERST — The Commonwealth Institute named Stavros Center for Independent Living one of the Top 100 Women-led Businesses in Massachusetts for 2022.
“I’m proud and humbled to be among this year’s awardees,” Stavros CEO Angelina Ramirez said. “It’s a real testament to the strength and devotion of the Stavros family, who live our mission every day.”
For nearly 50 years, Stavros has been promoting independence for people with disabilities and advocating for access in local communities and beyond.
The 22nd annual Top 100 rankings will be announced at the end of October and will appear in the Oct. 30 “Women and Power” edition of Boston Globe Magazine.
The Commonwealth Institute is a nonprofit organization that “propels women leaders to achieve success and deliver positive impact within their businesses and communities.” Its Top 100 list recognizes the achievements and significant contributions of women leaders in helping to drive the economy of Massachusetts.
