HARTFORD, Conn. — Trinity Health Of New England will host a Spanish-language version of its educational webinar series, “COVID-19 Vaccine: What You Need to Know,” today, Jan. 25. The webinar is part of a series that began on Jan. 11 and runs through Feb. 15. The session will run one hour, from 6 to 7 p.m.

Presenters for the Spanish webinar are Dr. Jose Arias-Camison, director of NICU and interim chairman of the Department of Pediatrics for Trinity Health Of New England, and Dr. De Jesus Paulino, pulmonologist for Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group.

In addition to the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic, the webinar highlights topics related to the vaccine, such as phases of the clinical trials, types of vaccine, how they work, patient demographics, safety, quality, efficacy, and side effects. The webinar will also touch on the phases of distribution, and there will be a question-and-answer session with the presenters.

“As Connecticut and Massachusetts roll out the COVID-19 vaccine in earnest, we know that many people have myriad questions and concerns, and we are proud to serve as a source of truth,” said Dr. Reggy Eadie, president and CEO of Trinity Health Of New England. “In keeping with our deeply rooted mission to serve as a healing and transforming presence to our local communities, Trinity Health Of New England is committed to providing the latest information and education about this virus and the vaccines developed to fight against it.
