Trinity Health Of New England’s Provider Practices Have New Name
SPRINGFIELD — Trinity Health Of New England announced that all its employed provider practices have been renamed Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group. Locally, this includes the medical practices affiliated with Mercy Medical Center, including all RiverBend Medical Group and Mercy Medical Group locations throughout the Greater Springfield area, as well as specialty practices.
“We have been evolving into a true regional health system since Trinity Health Of New England was established in 2015,” said Dr. Reginald Eadie, president and CEO of Trinity Health Of New England. “This evolution is happening at every level; bringing our employed medical practices together under the Trinity name is part of the process. We want our patients and their families, as well as our providers and staff, to experience one culture based on exceptional and inspired care, no matter where they meet us.”
Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group also includes provider practice locations throughout Connecticut affiliated with Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford and Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury.
“While our practice names have changed, our mission, core values, and vision — providing high-quality care, cutting-edge technology, and an inspiring patient experience — remain the same,” said Dr. Richard Shuman, president of Medical Groups and Provider Services for Trinity Health Of New England. “We will continue serving our communities in Western Massachusetts and Connecticut, but as a single organization that has come together united by our commitment to our patients and communities.”
