Unit Wins Accreditation

PALMER — Wing Memorial Hospital Medical Centers has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in Mammography as a result of a recent
survey by the American College of Radiology.
The ACR awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of its practice. It assesses the qualifications of the personnel, adequacy of facility equipment, as well as quality assessment and improvement activities, including peer review.

The Radiology Department administers mammograms to women in the area, even those whose doctors are not in the Wing Health Care System.
