Weather Closes American Medical Response COVID-19 Testing Today

SPRINGFIELD — American Medical Response (AMR), the city of Springfield’s provider of medical transportation, announced, in collaboration with Mayor Domenic Sarno’s office and Health and Human Services Commissioner Helen Caulton-Harris, that the daily Stop the Spread COVID-19 testing site at the Eastfield Mall will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17 for the safety of AMR personnel who would otherwise be exposed to predicted winter weather.

Daily COVID-19 testing will resume Tuesday morning at Eastfield Mall. Testing is available on a drive-through basis only at 1655 Boston Road, Springfield between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.
