Whip City Animal Sanctuary to Host Santa and Mrs. Claus
WESTFIELD — Whip City Animal Sanctuary will host its second annual Pictures with Santa event on Friday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. at 232 Montgomery Road, Westfield.
“We are raising donations for the Westfield Food Pantry this year and are thrilled to welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus back to the farm,” said Robin Plourde, president and founder of the sanctuary.
Kerry Plourde, co-founder of the sanctuary, added that “last year’s event brought many new smiling faces to the farm. We’ve added lots of new decorations this year and hope to be able to host this event for several generations to come.”
Santa will kick off the event by lighting the farm’s 75 foot tree at 6 p.m. There will be free snacks and hot cocoa as well as a stroll through the barn to visit with the animals. Pictures with Santa are available to all who bring a non-perishable food or monetary donation for the Westfield Food Pantry.
