Willie Ross School for the Deaf to Host Purse Bingo Fundraiser on Oct. 24
LONGMEADOW — Willie Ross School for the Deaf (WRSD) will hold a purse bingo fundraiser on Friday, Oct. 24 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Twin Hills Country Club, 700 Wolf Swamp Road, Longmeadow. Bingo games will begin at 6 p.m., with attendees having the opportunity to win designer purses by Kate Spade, Coach, and Michael Kors over a series of bingo rounds.
Admission to the event is $40 and includes one bingo book with 10 games and a dauber. Tickets can be purchased at www.wrsdeaf.org/purse-bingo-fundraiser. Additional bingo books for an 11th round of bingo can be purchased for $15, and additional bingo cards for each game can be purchased for $2 each.
WRSD trustee Ivy Velez will serve as master of ceremonies for the event, and food and drinks will also be available for purchase.
Purse bingo has become a popular way for organizations to fundraise, combining the game of bingo with the opportunity to win designer purses. The game follows standard bingo rules and creates a fun, social atmosphere.
