WSKB to Broadcast from Baystate Noble to Promote Toy & Food Drive
WESTFIELD — Baystate Noble Hospital will host Westfield State University’s community radio show on WSKB 89.5 FM on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
WSKB hosts Bob Plasse, Jay Pagluica, and Kenny Stomski will broadcast live from the front lobby of the hospital from 6 to 10 a.m. to promote the hospital’s annual Toy & Food Drive. Guests will include Westfield Mayor-elect Brian Sullivan and Baystate Noble Hospital President Ronald Bryant. Bring non-perishable food items or new, unwrapped gifts during the broadcast to be entered to win a family four-pack of tickets to see the Springfield Falcons.
Donation boxes are also located in the Baystate Noble Hospital Café, front lobby, and Blood Donor Center, and donations may be dropped off Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Friday, Dec. 18. Food items will be donated to the Westfield Food Pantry, and gifts will be donated to the Salvation Army to be distributed to Westfield-area families in need.
WSKB 89.5 FM, Westfield State University’s 24-hour, commercial-free, nonprofit radio station, is a joint initiative of the Westfield State Foundation, the Westfield State Student Radio Club, and the city of Westfield. Baystate Noble Hospital is the radio station’s major underwriter.
