17 Graduate From HCC Practical Nursing Program

HOLYOKE— A pinning ceremony staged June 28 in the Forum at Holyoke Community College marked the graduation of 17 students from the college’s Practical Nurse Certificate Program.
The members of the Class of 2002 are:
Carissa J. Jones of Belchertown; Mal-gorazata Kantianis, Chicopee; Heather Perella, Chicopee; Katherine Racine, Chicopee; Angela Hallett, Easthampton; Amanda LeBlanc, Easthampton; Cara Paschetto, Hampden; Devon Chmura, Holyoke; and Patricia Hart, Holyoke.

Also, Carolyn Stephenson, Springfield; Victor Anoke, Springfield; Wendy Gor-don, Springfield; Olga Figueroa, Spring-field; Andrea Pasquini, Southampton; Thomas Valliere, Three Rivers; Laura Teft, Ware; and Jessica Mongeau, Westfield.

PN graduates are now eligible to take the NCLEX-PN Exam, the licensing board exam for practical nurses. HCC has a 100{06cf2b9696b159f874511d23dbc893eb1ac83014175ed30550cfff22781411e5} pass rate on the exam to date — all 15 of last year’s HCC Practical Nursing graduates (the first graduating class) passed the exam and are employed.
