WARE — The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations recently conducted an accreditation survey of Baystate Mary Lane Hospital. The purpose of the survey was to evaluate the quality and safety of patient care and the safety of the environment in which care is provided.
“We are pleased that the Joint Commission’s review and evaluation has led to our re-accreditation,” said Marna Mucha, director of Quality. “This reaccreditation provides hospital clients and health care professionals a greater level of confidence that Baystate Mary Lane Hospital meets the rigorous requirements that are important for delivery of quality patient care.
“Our success continues to be a team effort,” she continued. “This high standard of care has been achieved by the commitment of leadership and staff to ensure that all patients receive high-quality care in a courteous manner in a safe environment.” |
